• Received message in LinkedIn from Heather Malek with Matrix about IT Manager position with The Apparel Group. Wrote her back asking what the best way for me to apply would be.
• Sent an email to Luda asking what it was like to work at The Apparel Group.
• Sent an email to Rachel Meaney with Accuvant to inquire into opportunities there. Brian Serra said they're trying to fill "positions in Sales, Consulting, and Operations".
• Attended North Dallas Career Focus Group.
• Sent a LinkedIn message to Cheryl Stasiak with SolidState about Senior Audit & Compliance Consultant position that was posted in the PCI DSS Compliance Specialists LinkedIn group.
• Left a voicemail and sent an email to Randy Watterworth of Jefferson Wells about their Risk Advisory Services opening.
• Spoke to Heather about the position with The Apparel Group. She suggested I go ahead and apply on LinkedIn, and she would reach out to her contacts within the company to let them know to look for my application.
• Applied to IT Manager position on LinkedIn, and forwarded my cover letter to Heather as well.
• Spoke to Virginia Sumrall about Manager of IT Governance and Compliance position. Emailed her my resume.
• Reviewed the above job description, and highlighted the areas in my background which makes me a good fit for this position.
• Spoke to Virginia again about the Mgr. of IT Gov and Comp position. She will consider submitting me to the customer.
